Wondering which GPS iPhone systems people like?

I have;
Trails Lite; and
GPS Lite - MotionX

I quite like Trails Lite, integrates with Maps, tells you the following;
Distance (km)
Duration (h:m:s:)
Speed (km/h)
Pace (mins/km)
a few other things,
plus Start & Finish Times.

The speakers on the iPhone 4 are pretty good too. I've been setting the iPod part to speaker mode, without earphones, so you can hear the birds, and the music !

Now I just want a waterproof iPhone, and recessed deck mount !

Trails Lite also looks like it would be good for cycling.

I have a Nokia N97 and use Sports tracker. It seems to work pretty well, now I know how slow I really am

If anyone from Starboard is reading this... how about adding some K-15 accessories to the range - a bluetooth surround sound speaker system with subwoofer! Would fit nicely in the recessed deck.

Thanks Murf. We call our son "The Wookie".

PT, sounds like you're looking for the equivalent of the Honda Goldwing !!
Maybe increase the lip height by 2 inches, and you might get away with wearing shoes and socks in winter !! Or socks and crocs (say that slowly! haha).

There's an idea for DJ, wetsuit socks inside Crocs! Again, say it slowly.....

Hey Simondo,

I've been using my iphone for a while for music and the gps apps.

I've found using Mapmyfitness (also known as mapmyrun) is probably the best app for gps paddle tracking, very accurate!

As for music, I grabbed a H20 audio and use cheap headphones from Kmart, that work great.

Hope that might help you out.
