Fantastic conditions on the day. Was great to meet all the SUPVIC crew. Big kudos to the guys n gals that did the full 27k race, Chris, Warwick and dean the top 3.

I think I got some lucky bumps along the line I picked. The guys seemed to favour staying by the island on the right but I thought I'd take a punt and stay wider to get more wind and potential bumps. Meant 13k of paddling on my left hand side but it was worth it I think.
Caught a very nice boat wake towards the end too.
Where were you DJ? Would have been nice to have you along. You been missing from a lot of events lately! You would have loved it!

Well done guys and girls. Looked like a great event. Sorry the back stopped me from coming down but I'm already getting a crew together for the winter Classic in August. looking forward to the thermal springs after racing already.
