Thanks standupper....all photos taken sunday morning....big difference tween the wave conditions at dawn & the final shot of the point about 11 am

May be you should climb up the hill with Logan Murrey get a few pointers ,swell looks bigger than it was .

Looks like you guys have had some rain too. I assume the water isn't always that colour?

Waves are that colour here too. Same waves as always, just a different colour.

Yep your bang on the water is normally good there . think we had rain saturday night.

No brain no pain it was hard going doesn't look it wind was about 25 knots, still had some good waves late drops . But the giz didn't get them

Very envious fellas .. still flat here.. been meaning to visit for a while now though, should maybe kick my ass a little and get a trip sorted. Nice pics look forward to some more.

The sea is always that brown/green colour down here about 70% of the year.

The sea is always that brown/green colour down here about 70% of the year.
I bet its brown down there at the moment hope you guys are getting on all right

Well actually my leg muscle prob did loosen up during the half hour you were out towball & in the next 3 hours conditions quickly improved....got a few

Thanks for sharing those GizzieNZ - some good shots there bringing back lots of memories. Not been down your way since the Dec 07 Quake when I came over for work to do some inspections. Sadly the surf was rubbish then.

Do you get up to Frog Rock at all? We used to camp on the beach there yrs ago and surf there and The Creek. Great waves. Would be fun on the SUP.

Makorori Point sure holds some size. Very envious. Would love it if you could post some shots of the island when its cranking from the water.

Keep those shots coming.
