Well not sure when I will get out due to work but this board is the Sh1t

The kids got the design nod and came up with this!

Its not Von Pyros but they love it!

Ok well the launching was done at Torquay Point and with no sleep.

The waves were pretty wind effected with a 20+ kn offshore.

Every now and then a nice 3-4ft set would roll through.

In short this board is a big ass ripper with heaps of performance, even in windy condition with a 3ft wave it just rips.

Big powerfull arcing turns and cutties, screaming fast runs down the line with toes over set this board apart from the pack.

I scored a nose ride at OG that I will remember forever.

Cant wait to get it in some serious juice.

Rich took one look at the Grip and the board was christened "Mr Chompy"

Enough Said.

BP,

Its simple I asked the kids to design the Grip, they came up with "Mr Compy" and they did it as a Fathers Day present for me!

I like "Mr Chompy" he's unique and Niki says he has a big wide mouth so he can eat lots of big waves! I'm loving her work in that area.

This dad is gonna make sure Mr Compy gets really really fat.

Phil,

Get your daughter on the gun alot. She will build stronger legs and be able to whip her short SUP around after using the gun. It is a great training tool. My son uses it all the time and when he gets on his short SUP he turns and controls the short SUP easier. Also you learn good foootwork being on a bigger board. Just a thought.

Aloha

Hey Byron,

Noah has beautiful foot work and best of all he uses the all of the old school and the new school skills. Tell him he rips.

That is the best Vid I have seen in a long time. I will show it to Krisiti, Nesh and Niki when they up.

Niki let Kristi have a go on the Dale Chapman 8ft a week ago and she just blew it up. I saw here get the board vertical at one point before she even knew she had done it.

Kristi is getting pretty handy on the Imperial 8.9 even in bigger surf.

.

How bright is the future for SUP.

These guys will just shred when they get tho the ripe old age of 15 laughs.

Byron thank you so much for posting the Vid. Keep them coming.

There are a couple of other kids down this way interested now and more Big Kids too!

If Kristi wants to she can also use the gun for down wind paddling.

Cool Phil. I read all about your daughter here and good on letting her use your 12 gun. When the waves are small get her on it the gun and tell her run up and down and turn. 6 months her level will be leaps and bounds guaranteed. Have fun and let your girls know Maui is watching.

Is the 7'8 PSH board the same board Blane made for Aaron Nepoleans son?

I heard he is ripping too!

Paddles and boards for kids in Aus is a nightmare.

The Dave Boyd Imperials and Dale Champan Boards are by far the best hands down.

These 2 shapers have open minds and they truely live and love what they do.

They have a passion for SUP.

To see Dave Boyds eyes light up when he watches Kristi Sup is something to behold.

Without a great shaper as Wingnut said you drown lol.

Thanks David and Hilly.

Phil not sure what Riggs Napoleon is riding. Noah's board is a 7'10 old shape as Blane says. Can't wait for the newer lighter stuff. Anyways back to the gun. Have fun and enjoy.

Hey Dogman,

I am sitting back in the recliner with Bacon and eggs on the way.

Swell has dropped to 6" overnight so me thinks Niki might get out today woooo hooo.

I think we might be able to fit all 3 girls on the 12ft gun, syncronized paddling anyone?

With 2 x natural footers and 1 x goofy there could be some issues.

Phill
