This race is a 5mile paddle from Waimea Bay - Haleiwa ,I did this race last year and have improved my time by 2mins finishing in 55min.44sec and ended up 20 places up
from last year finishing 55th out of 180 Sup/ paddleboarders.
Overall really stoked , the winner did it in a race record around 36min mark.
First time on the C4 V1 ,was pretty happy with it and got some nice wee runners .
Big thanks again to C4 Waterman Hawaii .

Congratulations Craig!! Great pics. That looks like another great fun race on the North Shore. You did well beating your last years time and the official results have you coming in 3 seconds faster than you stated !! Always so modest
Here's the full results of your race.

Have a great rest of stay.

Great work Boylos on competing and besting your previous time from last year.
Board looks nice - how does it rate/compare to the Vortice?
Keep the photos coming ! :)
Great stuff Craig.. Looks like you found a cute blond girl to follow in the race..
Was the V1 much more stable than your Vortice?
DJ
Thanks Sue Lou, DJ .... yeh I found this board to be lot more stable than the Vortice ,but it's a lot heavier .... but for me I need stability !
I also had ago on a S.I.C F16 ,which I found to be very good as well .We ended up not doing a Hawaii Kai run as the winds weren't strong enough ...
which was a real bugger !
I've also got a demo sup day on Sunday put on by Blue Planet Surf ,and then after that the premier of the second season of Hawaii 50 ,the actors are going to be there with full red carpert and full screening on the beach!
