Just found this one at 4am. Can't sleep, too many red wines last night (but no hangover!!), counting the minutes till dawn, hoping for an early sup, after I don't know how many days of howling onshores, cold & rain.
Not looking very promising, currently 10 knot SW (onshore). Could be a lumpy one, 3m swell (which means about 1.2m at Cott, my local).
This vid's 5 months old, might have been posted before, dunno. The sort of wave that we can only dream about in Perth!! Surfed Pascuales in '94, not quite as heavy as Puerto Escondido but very memorable, huge A-frames, bugger the swine flu, I wanna go back
Have a Bex and a good lie down Mike.Wind is all over the shop atm.I'll be there at 6.45ish if the wind stays light.
I've surfed Puerto a few times-very very heavy wave-kinda' place where 3/20 waves are the most amazing waves of your life and the other 17 a mixed bag of horror and destruction.
My wife broke her collar bone surfing Puerto 3 months into our relationship back in 97'-the convalescence and care I administered cemented the relationship .
Would not be keen to SUP there, at all.
