Isn't SUP great, not only can you go out and surf with your mates/friends/partner, but when the family comes up for xmas, drag out the SUPS and you have a great time for all !
Photos tell the story . Anyone else have a great family SUP chrissy?
With spots like Caloundra, Maroochy river, Noosa can't go far wrong I guess.
Some more family fun - Tadpoles having fun at Currumbin in the last few days...

all looks like fun, how good is the currumbin estuary its so good on the incoming tide for a paddle, make sure next time you are down in the creek you paddle 5mins down the creek and call in to the roar shop and say hi.
Cheers Angie
I spent new years day with my niece and nephew. I paddled them out to the sand bars when it was still and then sailed around chasing dolphins with them on the front when the wind picked up to 10knts. Fun was had by all.

Ok Angie, will do. No doubt I can find a "parking spot" on the riverbank to park my "ride".

Just got back from a family holiday at a place called Moonta Bay in SA. We had a beach front powered sight the local caravan site which has the best sunset views.
Here's a pic of us all packed up ready to go.
The set up
The view (only flatwater)
Finally got my 3 yr old to ride up front. Know i just need to get her to stand up
Time for a beer
I also finally got my wife out on the board as well my mum when she came and stayed for a few days. It was a big deal to get my wife on the water as she usually just loves the ocean from the beach. Now she wants to go back without the kids
just got back from takin the grommets for a surf and just before the boys had packed it in
i grabbed a micro paddle and 8' gboard soft board and dragged the boys out the back (1ft peelers)to try and paddle sup style into a few
they both struggled on the small board but after a while the big grom "from up the road brodin" aged 7 paddled into a few cracka waves and rode all the way in stylin it up and paddlin like a true madmen
with my grom sabian aged 5 pumped up from watching his best mate brodin nailing it he tried hard but got worked solidly
then he (cheating) nailed a few kneeling down and squeeled in triumph each time he made a drop
hi fives allroundwoooohoooo
Champcrow. Noice pics
