That's certainly something to think about JB...and what she says is so true.
Does she SUP...Just kidding..

That's got to be the best reason to make my first post!
Excellent JB, Dr. David Suzuki's daughter at 12 years of age. Putting it better and with more passion than most politicians dare to! When will people ever realise
It reminds me of the old Cree Indian saying, 'Eat Money' I'm sure you've heard it.
'Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish has been caught, will we realise that we cannot eat money'.
Thanks.
JB,
You keep coming up with GOLD. Keep the videos coming. Sorry I didn't get to meet you when you were over here in Perth the other week.
All I am doing is passing on the good ones that touch me. I pretty scary when you get all bogged down in the hustle and bustle of life and you forget about the important things. Sometimes we all just need a little reminder.
Bummer you couldn't make it to any of the Perth demo's. I am sure that the boys will be doing more demo's soon, maybe when it is a little warmer.
Regards,
JB
Hope that you had a good time over this way. I don't get down cott way often, I tend to stay closer to some of the northern spots with Greeny, Windy, and Kitersi. Closer to home so less travel and therefore less petrol used, less pollution!
Hey JB, what dates are you looking at coming to Adelaide and what are you doing while you are there? I live 2 and a half hours from Adelaide and i'm off during the week might make the trip.
Cheers
Champ
WOW what an awesome young girl! I bet she doesnt sit around at home playing computer games? Why cant every other kid have the same passion as her? It just makes me know that I can have confidence in the next generation to run the country
Doh! Im such a dick. I just found out that this vid was filmed in 1992. I was 14 back then. I was playing computer games and I wont be running for prime minister
Im not holding onto mine... Im using it
Here is my set up in the corner of the shed
This is one of 4 keyboards I have. I also have the 128 keyboard which my dad still has.
IMO the 1541 is the best drive of the C64 range. Its so retro looking
Heres the 1571 drive.
I have filing draws to keep the disks. Four draws full of floppies
A Fastload Cartridge
The power pack
A collection of joysticks
This one is my favourate! River Raid look out
This is a list I printed out of some of my favourate games I had from A to Z.
One page contains about 200 games. There are 7 pages. Thats 1400 games I played the most. Last time I did a count I had over 2000 programes
The cassette player. Wack in a tape to load before school, come back home ready to play
C64 was ahead of the times. My Dad use to do his invoices on the 128D
Yes I did try to programme games of my own. How poor was I
Sorry Ive taken over JB's inspiration thread.
I will start a new thread for anyone wanting to bring back the old school memories of the C64, 128 and Amiga's.
LETS TALK RETRO COMPUTER GAMES
Im not expecting much activity in the thread though
Heres the new thread if anyone is interested. See you all there... NOT
