Sure..
Next lesson...
Learning to cross step.. so I can do it DW'ing.. is a big part of why I bought this board.. Great vid.. seen it heaps and good to watch it again.
After unloading my new Hokua due to the surf being blown out I decided to do another session on the big skate board.
Wore my Dragon mc jeans and mc boots.. Found a better hill.. Kept my speed under control.. Found that keeping my toes and shoulders pointing down the hill more along with a bit more knee bend helped heaps..
After half a dozen runs down the hill with no damage to me or the board I was starting to have serious fun.. It was feeling more and more like snowboarding.. I only came in because I was so hot and sweaty..
I was forgetting how old I was.. Felt like a 10yr old.

Who needs a skateboard? Just look at this picture a lot.

Where were you its been pumping down here up till an hour ago!!
What's with those trucks? Are they a Koastal design or ? Looks like they'd need specific bushings. They manage to turn that beast more than most would.
This is my latest board, it's 40" which is big enough for me, dedicated pump board. I'll start a thread on Long Distance Pumping one of these days. I'm just learning but the other night I did 3.8km in 20mins at average 11km/h. 3 laps of a street circuit around my local area with a few ups and downs, net elevation change zero. I pushed about 20 pushes in that distance, ie maybe 6-8 pushes up the steepest part of each lap. The rest was just pumping, which feels amazing, like surfing the streets endlessly.

This guy pumps with a ton of style. Big guy but he looks so light on his feet.
I made this so as not to jack DJ's thread.

DJ you need a land paddle, i use mine to push along then you can use it to slow down on the hills, cars give you a wide berth too when you have 6 and half feet of wood to swing around...
DJ, I have a spare land paddle you can have. Going to sell my Kahuna long board and other paddle before I damage myself on it.
Thanks Paul.. Using a land paddle stick was my plan.
Good God. I was going to type that as a joke but you guys are serious.
