Here's an interesting vid about what Starboard is up to with their 2010 boards.

It is amazing how quickly this sport is evolving.

If you looked at boards, particularly race boards, a year ago with ones today you would think it is a different sport.

Junior Whopper 9' x 33" and 7'11" x 28" that's covering the options!

That new grip idea sounds interesting.

Slippy when dry and grippy when wet..

I'll keep this above the belt! That grip on the starboards actually works well, I was a bit surprised, not as comfy as having deck grip under your feet though.
I'm liking the look of 7'11 x 28", bout time production boards starting coming out in this size

The logo on his t-shirt looks like Kind of consistent with the Whopper and Junior names and ...

The Starboard range look great but as far as I know only RPS are selling Starboard and they only have a very limited range. Anybody know of somewhere in Melbourne we can see/try the other boards in the range?

Unfortunately RPS is the only Auswind/Starboard outlet in melb, and they really are not into the DEMO thing.Limited range, and it would seem limited interest, equal limited sales, nobody wins

Good news for Kiwis with Jeremy from Supsnz travelling around giving demos of Starboard boards and offering some good board/bag/paddle deals. Got myself a whopper sport tech. As they say not a fast paddler but a loose frisky little beast on a wave. Yet to give it the "really big wave" test

Looking at the photo Wardog from Surfingsports posted, the small board is actually 7'11 x 29.5" - nice finish and that width sounds a bit more reasonable!
