Good luck to jacko who is about to get on a 32hr flight to head over to Germany for the jever Sup world cup. Long way to go for 3 days lol! Bring it home to oz!! X Angie
Ya good one Jacko all the best, looks like those kooky old longboarders will move inside and keep your spot warm
He's got the right board this year and had plenty of good preparation, He's got to be a real chance. Go Jacko!!
Here is a clip from yesterday in hamburg (Jever Sup World cup) Jacko seems to be holding a 1st place trophy but i have no idea what it for.
They had all the relay teams stuff on yesterday, so i'm guessing it for that.
Yeh your right lobes, looks like the Team Naish Won the relay race.
1km Sprint heats and final today
10km Distance Sunday

Just spoke with jacko and the Team that won the relay was
Jacko
Jerry Bess
Jenny Kalmbach
Sonny (the german Girl)
Jacko said there is 50 guys in the pro mens and all good paddlers, so it's gonna be super hard race.
16 pro women as well.
I will post on how the 1km sprints go when i hear anything.
XX angie
Spoke with jacko before. He said the 1km sprint heats were super hard! The everyone is paddling really well In the guys. Jacko managed to win the heats and the semi final, so is now waiting to do the 6 man final. The other side of the draw, Jerry bess won. It's a 6 man final but I'm not sure who else is in it. Jacko said it was anyones final, it will all depend on how good u get around the can. The 10km is later today. X Angie
It looks like Jacko came in second in the long distance behind Eric Terrien, with Jerry Bess in 3rd (if my attempt to translate the German updates on facebook is right) and Jenny Kalmbach won the womens. (Jerry and Jenny were both in Jacko's team that took out the relay.)
Well done Jacko! Awesome result!!! And well done to the rest of the Naish team too.
Yep jacko got 2nd in the 10km. He said it was a super hard race! He ended up 5th in the sprints as he said he totally stuffed up the start and got stuck behind in wash. He said all the top guys were paddling very well. He said training will have to step up big time! So look out morning training crew, we are gonna get smashed when he gets back. X
Well done !!
Is it time to enjoy a Jever in Germany now ??
Matter of fact, I'm now curious myself, I've never tasted one... will have to try and find one...
Thanks for the support guys it was much apprecitated..
Just got back at 3am and as always it's good to be home!!!! big event again this year with alot harder racing and racers. Got to meet and hang out with some really nice people and had a pretty fun trip alround.
It was good to see what other boards are out there and how everyone is thinking with design and how they all worked a little different.
Jacko
Well done Jacko.. Were you happy with how the Jav performed in those conditions?
That Nidecker looks a lot like a Naish Javelin.. .. Were they very different?
Did you get to speak to Robby about the Mambo?
DJ
Hey DJ
The Jav worked really well and i was super happy with it. It has the speed for sure!!! it's a bit slow on the turns but as a production board it was as quick as anything there. Erics boards were also quick and yes the nose looked very close to the the Jav but it had a big square tail which i think helped him a lot with all the turns.
