Anyone have any experience with these , i like the look of these boards. They look fast.

Jimmy’s new 12’6 Slice race board design is the fastest board in it’s class. The sleek displacement hull has lots of vee in the nose to break up the nastiest chop, and a flatter mid-section for speed and stability. The edges are very round from front to back for maximum speed.

It’s as capable in monster swells as it is on flat water if you’re experienced. It catches waves easily so you can ride the bumps for long periods. For a true down wind board, check out the Albatross.

The slightly recessed standing area keeps the center of gravity low for a fast, stable and comfortable ride.

It has great speed for touring long distances and if you want to race, this is the board for you!

Only master shaper Jimmy Lewis could shape a board with such clean lines and refined curves as seen on this board – its lines are pure beauty and the performance matches its looks.

Rider ability: Intermediate to advanced (lightweight beginners will have no problem with this shape).

For fast boards that are more stable, check out the Albatross. , Sabre 14 or the Blade

Rider weight: All

Dimensions: 12’6 X 29

Volume: 285 litres

whoa, they do look nice. how' that blade

Looks sweet eh , the description of the board seems to suggest its for flat or choppy water ie lakes ect.I like the Slice , excpecially for the Be Bop A LU BOP races.

I dont like the nose shapes of most of the boards i seen at the Kirra gig the other day , apart from the Coreban.Obviousley they work but me thinks they are more suited to flat water rather than surf.

Yeah the Blade does look more stable , the slice may look tippy although it is designed for the surf , where the blade id designed for flats.Any way id like to try one if any one has one.

yeah, the blade nose looks a worry in the surf, but the roundness of the slices rail looks a bit tippy. what about the albatross, got any photos of that.

the speed on the slice in sooooooo fast. is it just me, but it looks like they could have used better paddlers. those guys are throwing water all over the place
cheers

Yeah agree on the paddlers , reminds of the flicker that surfs the Alley.Every time i see him i want to go up and say put the paddle in the water man , youll go faster.

Really nice , i like these boards for no other reason than they look fast , and i like the nose shape. Do you know how stable the 12,6 is in surf conditions?I.E bop style races in out through shore break.

I like the look of the 14 but i think its a go no where class , 12,6 and 16 , 17 Ft for me.

Can you also tell me where i can demo one , im on the Goldcoast.

Cheers
