A couple of mates came down to the beach the other day. One has just started SUP surfing so he was keen to get out in some small stuff after he snapped his leggy in some big stuff. The other mate did some filming from the beach. He gave me the dvd this morning but I cant figure out the format and how to get it on YouTube. Instead I paused the vid and took a photo with my phone and transfered it onto my notebook then uploaded them here hahaha. Damn techno stuff

Steve Jobs would turn in his grave at that inapropriate use of an I phone Greeny. You sound about as tech savy as me.

Looks like a tuff life you live Greeny, clearly the move has been good to you. Might be down your way over the Australia day weekend.

Find the format:

In windows explorer, go to tools, folder options. A frame will pop up with General, View and Search tabs. Go "View". In the "Advanced settings" scroll box you'll see "Hide extensions for known file types" ticked. Untick that, click ok and you should be able to see the file format after that.

Youtube:

They have pretty flexible software, but if have been able to rip the disc and still can't upload it, use a program called Format Factory to change the format to flash (.flv) and then upload it
