Fully agree with Mr Trea!! The rest of the video shows why more Aussies should go on the world tour IMHO. . That does not in anyway detract from Mr Lenny's ability. But lately I've seen videos from Von Piros that show guys doing twenty times in one video of the same duration what Kai was doing once. I understand the quality of the waves in the vid weren't that good, but wouldn't it be nice to see some Aussies eg. Keahi, GB and Tha Dogman showing what they can do?? I know its unlikely, but...... just sayin is all!!
(PS Mr Piros I know about your plan for world domination over the next year more power and dollars to you!!!!)

this was on my facebook, portuguese,

ahem... French, not Portuguese :-)

I guess we are witnessing what happened in prone surfing when pro surfboads became unrideable by the mainstream surfer. I guess it was the advent of hyper thin and rockered boards used by Shane Dorian, then Slater.

Now, I guess SUPing a 24 inch wide board is doable, but only for people with enough time on the water to master it.

However, the quality of SUPing is skyrocketing with theses boards. Mo Freitas and Ian Vaz really impressed me. I juts hope that shapers will be able in the long term to "percolate" back to the design advances in the "advanced" boards, not just the "pro" ones.

Kai deserves his props he is so solid , yeah you can view my videos of best of of the Aussie crew , every dog has his day but Kai puts together more than others. The gap is closing and I think this year we will see some amazing sh!t , as the Aussie , Euro , African , & American/ South American freaks battle it out. Hopefully I'll be there to capture it all on film.
