Kawana Lake Time Trials Results 15 of May

It was a great turn out with 18 paddlers going for the time trials. This is a great number especially considering a large number could not make it tonight. Some just flew back from holidays, others at work, a few were away sick and I didn't paddle due to "Man Flu" which is a serious aliment that women don't seem to understand. I'm hoping to be well for the Creek to Creek race on Sunday and the Byron trip next weekend after.

Everyone is really starting to motor over this 4.24km sprint. I am really looking forward to the 17th of June on the Sunday Time Trial / Demo Day / SUP Games Festival and I hope a number of the Goldie crew come up and smash out a good time. Tonight's results had a lot of people achieving PB's and also a few new / old faces having their first time trial for the session. Here are the results.

I will also change the handicap system for the next couple of weeks because you are all finishing on top of each other now and without the three of us there timing tonight it would have been hard to get accurate times. Plus my wife normally does the timing by herself and she said I must . We are getting a large timing display and will video the finishes when we do with the timer in the background so we can go back to this handicap system and continue to have accurately recorded times.
