Time trials are on this Thursday at Lake Kawana.  5pm start.
Line honors and actual placings up for grabs.

Staggered start again. Will post your start time when I work them out latter in the day.

Aim is to have all finish within 30 seconds of each other. So PYAO.

Cheers Swanie

Here are the start times. First to finish gets line honors. Best time wins.
Don't be late. The clock starts at 5pm.

If we have another surf session like today the times may be a lot slower.

Also if you turn up with a board not listed on the sheet I will adjust your start time. You may find your name listed twice if you have ridden different craft on past weeks.

For those who are interested and not done one turn up and join in. No cost all free except for your sweat.

All paddlers paddle at their own risk.

Great paddle this evening at a cracka of a pace. All paddlers had their individual start times to cater for ability and boards. This is done to push each paddler to the limit but still let the top get line honors if deserved.

All adult paddlers regardless of board finished within 2 minutes of each other. I will adjust the times to make this closer next round. (NOT NEXT WEEK BUT THE ONE AFTER).

Wind was 18knots SSE which meant you had to work hard on the way down the lake. With this in mind the times were exceptional with all improving.

Jonsey and Lincoln showed their dominance again but had to push it to run down Scott and John in the last kilometer.

Josh's absence still leaves him lagging behind us old folk.

Absolutely spot on times. 2 watches keeping time. Placing are spot on. Some of the crew are paddling their rings off. Come on Rusty we want to see your time on a 12'6" and not that rocket 15'6" of yours.

opps fixed that now on the first sheet. Typo. See others sheets for actual times.

Even I'll be beating Rusty soon and I'm over twice his age!
Pity he can't handle the pressure and ride a 12'6 against others.

Mistake with the line honors. You can see on the first post the finish times do not match the line honor positions. My fatigued brain must have started looking at actual times half way through listing line honors instead of the finish times. The correct chart is below.

The reality is that the better times are posted when one can draft off another paddler, except in Ryan's case who was so fast on his DC15 no one could draft off him!
