Hi,
I have not tried either but is a long board the same as a SUP board or could you use the same for either?

I am curious to try both and would be even more curious if I could use the same board.

I notice the NSP 11' longboard 25 3/4 and 4 1/16 thick occasionally used as sup. A bargain price even in NZ. Maybe good for learning and seem to remember that DavidJohn used to use one as a standup

I guess board width is a limiting factor for both.. To lay down paddle a sup board it can't be too wide.. and to sup it it can't be too narrow.

The 11' NSP would work for both but would only be any good if you were less than about 60-70 kgs IMO or it will be too tippy.

Sanebie.. How big/heavy are you?.. One good thing about lay down paddling a sup board is that they kneel paddle well..
