Hector, I knew lots of surfers who used LSD back in the seventies, I am pretty sure they all suffer now from flashbacks. does that help?
I have had a LSD 8'6 Flashback fish for about 6 months. I'm about 95kg and 6'3 tall.
Surfed it in knee high to solid head and a half surf. Seems to prefer pocket surfing beachbreaks although can cruise through flat sections and mellower surf pretty good.
Fast and loose as you would expect from a short quad fin sup. Comes with very small fins which are too skatey so replaced them with some larger Kinetic racing quad setup
I have found it fairly unstable in any sort of chop. The flat rocker and low rails seem to catch the nose even on quite small chop. Moving further back only sinks the tail causing wobbles anyway. It would be perfect with a little kick up in the nose like some of the PSH boards. I have heard others comment that the flashback is a stable board for a short SUP but I guess it is all relative to your weight etc.
My surfing mates are shortboarders so I tend to go out in conditions that they prefer and take off in a similar spot sitting inside the other sups and any mals. Does not catch waves early.
Quite heavy but has no dings or marks after getting a regular beating. Top deck has compressed where you stand more than I would have expected but is now more comfortable than the original domed deck.
Basically a short sup with a fraction more width and volume to suit bigger guys. I love it!
I have added a tail/kick pad
