Looking forward to seeing everyone out there tomorrow morning.
8:30am rego in front of St Kilda Seabaths for 9am start, should be a cracker of a day compared to the battles we had last month.
Can't wait!
Due to the light SW breeze this morning registration will be at the SUP BUS on the inside of the pier from 8:30. See you then!
SUP CLUB June Race Series – Race 1 Wrap...
Fantastic conditions for the first SUP CLUB Race of the June Season. A 5-10 knot SW was easily managed by competitors who got out there and braved the cold water. After a flying start in the Race Class Paul Harrington (PT Woody) came undone on the upwind leg in a boat wash. Soon after Chris who shot to the front came off on some chop around the first turn and clearly didn't want to be in the water for long as he shot back to his feet and was on the way. Tim took most of the first lap to find the best balance point on his new race board, once he found it he was flying along!
Leo showed stellar form in the Social class powering his 10'2 across the line for his first win of the year. Close behind was Matt and Ben on his prone board, clearly with freezing hands by the end!
Great to see there are still keen paddlers making it out there as the temperature drops and the snow season starts. Couldn't think of a better way to start the weekend! Times & Results below!

Some of the keen paddlers in Race 1…
Never seen boat wake that big inside the pier. Clown must have been revving the crap out of that outboard or something. Jackass.
Anyhow, well played Chris. I'll have to eat my Weeties between now and the next race to give you some real competition.
