Lets rename Port Phillip Bay ( oops... last time) I suggest "Oily Phil". At some point in time there will be an algal bloom in "oily phil" that will be so bad that you will be able to walk across...
All the state governments ( thats not political) have been responsible in feeding the people of Melbourne a load of crap about Werribee for as long it has been working. Thirty years ago it was pumping 300Mg a day. In 2010 it is over 500mg a day. And were/are having a drought. Tell your children......and see what they say
I find it entertaining but some what disconcerning that people seem to be such authorities and experts on subjects but find it difficult to spell simple words or construct a sentence.
I'm all for keeping governments and corporations answerable and reducing pollution but as Sala noted, please provide documented evidence to support your cause. At the moment the you're only creating enemies.
Why is it that the people with such closed minds have the most open mouths?
Oh sorry ...thats a outfall plume from a well known beach in Northern NSW. thats me in the kayak in the middle. we were taking samples of the water and on the froth the water was 25% fresh water. There is an outfall at the base of the cliffs. All Kelp gone!!!!
So wanker, I assume you crap and pee into a biodegradable bag and dispose of it accordingly so that no-one else is affected?
Wanker do us all a favour and provide the evidence, and don't be so hostile to people that may actually be supporters if the evidence stacked up!!!
As oceans lovers and users we need to keep our playgrounds clean but all you are doing here is being your handle!!!
It's at the base of the cliffs between Skennars Head and Boulders. Know it well and have surfed and dived all around it. Not sure if you know the area but not a lot of Kelp grows here at all. If you put your head below the water you will see a lot of aquatic life from crays and other shellfish to dolphins, whales and sharks. As with the nutrient rich outfalls that flow into our local creeks the aquatic life is abundant. I'm not sure a photo with a foam trail does much to support your cause. The photo you have posted has no relevance to your mercury posts earlier. This is an outfall from a sewerage treatment plant. Last time a looked, mercury wasn't flowing from my back passage!
hey...someone wanted a photo... it is nothern NSW and its not boulders .I dont **** into a bag(yet) i piss outside as much as possible. I think you all just dont like having this **** thrown in your forum. Maybe we should just leave it to our water managers to deal with......guess what ...they are not doing a good job!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing to do with the Mercury in Port Phillip...I never said it was.....Its just another FILTHY OUTFALL..
So lets all just lay down and take what we are given..just like good little sheep. Better to hide in the bushes and say nothing...mother says you do. Ba Ba black sheep
Bushes and sheep, You are a kiwi you checky bugger No ozzie would speak of sheep and bush at the same time
And black sheep, Now you cant pick the ones that love ya
Okay (wish you'd change your name) wanker, i think we've heard the basis of what you have to say, now what would you like to about it??
Again, you would get alot of support from the folks that scribe here...how can we help?? You sound like someone thats looked around a bit and there fore know the demographic of sup riders...
What do you need? From any of the folks here besides our awareness...
No more one line, multi state photo plugging stuff....bring on the facts please and let us assist you huh?
Heaven forbid that fresh water gets into the ocean.
Who made it run downhill from the mountains? Silly architect :)
