Well done to Sue's paddleback crew ...........
What a great test of endurance and skill this morning in conditions not altogether ideal with strong side winds chop and swell ........
and all went well led in by Sue still standing .......
Sue leads a morning SUP training session Tue & Thurs 5.30am from La Balsa boat ramp Pt Cartwright

you are wrong ....... it is a FREE social paddling group to anyone who wants to attend (with a good attitude) it is NOT a business and NO COMMISSION. The fact is i did not paddle but am very happy for those 4 people that did.

Hey Kevin,

Great pics. Good positive story. No probs here with you promoting Sup. The more the better. Sup is a great sport and should be shared by everybody. If Sue finds a few new paddlers then good luck. How long was the paddle ?

All the best and keep sending the photos through.

Cheers Todd

My first long SUP downwinder today and I was shattered at the end. Really great to have such a nice bunch to paddle with and especially to learn from.
Sue does an awesome job motivating us all and I am really enjoying the paddling.
Great photos Kevin.

And as for Chris - Crispychru - fell free to come and join us, but if not, crawl back in your hole and keep your negative posts off a great website.

Hi Todd
They took 1 hour 29 minutes paddle time from point to point but because the conditions were very rough throwing some off and they had agreed to stick together, the total time was longer . All wore leg ropes which were necessary.

Hi Thomo. The board in the last photo (as I read the question) is a Naish. The board on the Quiver kaddy is a Hobie which is what Sue is on in the 2nd pic.

i am so sorry i am not part of the elite sup crews out there, i am even more sorry for not knowing who Sue is, i know its bad. you people really do eat each others backsides alot, lap lap dogs. you are just bullys,un educated not personal. have a look at yourselves and stop all your back slapping and the sooky crap you all cry about. be factual sure, but to to have a go at me personally just shows how small minded this sup forum can be. say what we want or we will cry and you will never be with the cool kids. kiss my sup

Hey mate I was just making light of another topic being derailed.

FYI,I am not part of the elite sup crew by any means, far from it!
But I know who's who and respect them for what they do and achieve.
I think if your second post on this topic had the word ( sorry ) that
would have put the flames out

Don't lose any sleep about it,all good

We train Tuesday and Thursday morning at 5:30am at Kawana Boat Ramp. All free and all welcome.

Mainly we all train for our own personal fitness, mine is so I can eat what I like .

We started a couple of weeks back doing downwinds together on weekends and would like to see the group grow.

Great pics Kev. Pitty someone jumped to a wrong conclusion and went negative from the start but it seems to be the way for 2011 here (pity). Funny someone thinks that we are "elite paddlers' though, but now they are dreaming

Here is a map of the paddle. It was about 14km.

hey there if you read my response i did say i was wrong, just didnt use the so sor sorr sorry word. i can understand getting burnt, yet personal attacks are so pathetic. not aimed just at you but those that like to call names or to behave in a similar vain. As i said good on them that is a big arse paddle for anyone especially me once again i am all for sup BUT i can tell straight up if you want to call me names do it my face,. Yet if i am wrong, good chance i might be,let me know with logic not name calling. you are right though mac it is all good, thats why i sup . get wet and smile
