It's not as good as Lummers new vid but I was mucking around with my new little sucker cam camera mount today and took this short vid.

I was paddling my 14' Glide down at St Kilda maria.. Is it just me that finds that paddle pop-up thing pretty funny..

Good angle.... and i am not talking bout your arse.

reckon would be nice to see this view in the waves on a surfing sup if there was space at the back of the board.

On my next board Im going to put an FCS plug on the nose and on the tail of the board for easy mounting of my Gopro.
A while ago I did try the sucker cam on the tail but I kept hitting it with my foot.
Also my leggie kept getting tangled around my camera and getting in the way of the footage. Once it also pulled the sucker off the board.

Cool video DJ . I like the paddle pop trick. I have seen guys do it out in the surf when waiting for a set. Every time I try it the paddle never comes back to me and I end up falling off the board trying to grab it. I like that camera angle too. I think it will probably be the best all round angle for sup videos but it is difficult on surfboards as Greeny said.

Some waves would have made it a little more exciting!

The trick to the paddle pop is to really spear it in hard like DJ was doing it projects the paddle back up nice and high and makes it easy to catch.

The gopro rear mount is very hard to get to work in surf and the only success we have had is to mount it 6 - 8 inched up above the tail otherwise when you sink the tail in a turn the camera goes under water most of the time.

The fcs plug is the only way we have found that works for the rear mount too as the sucker style mount just lets go and falls off as the water rips over the deck when you sink the tail.

my 2 cents
