Woo hoo - ripping Rod. Nice work. Glad to see you're not letting those longboarders get all the waves to themselves!

Watching the cricket? Yeah it was pretty crowded with only a couple of regulars. It always amazes me when non regulars paddle straight inside and start blowing good waves, you can only take so much.

Great vid and great music.. Thanks Rod....more please..

I tossed up between the GoPro and the Olympus 1030 and went with the Olympus in the end.

It's not as wide angle lens as the GoPro but wider than a normal 35mm camera.

I did a short SuckerCam vid yesterday to see if I fit in the screen and with a little adjusting I'll just fit..or turn my camera on its side... Here's a still from the vid.

Now I need to do a vid in the waves..

Yes Ian,
I have sold the chili paddle just last week. The paddle in the clip is my latest 10 degree full carbon solid core wave paddle, hand made of course.
It is a bit shorter as I feel that when you go surfing and are experienced in the surf a shorter paddle feels better and is easier to chuck around and 10 degrees blade angle trims better and doesn't stall the bottom turns as much.

I was trying to find some music recorded on my DOB, but 55 will do as I'm 55 this year.

Come on DJ, the first couple I shot were headless. I'm thinking camera angles all the time now Eh Casso! Two cams on the board one facing front the other back with a video set up on the rocks for the traditional surf footage, rave on.

I don't know how that first image is chosen for the YouTube link but I think its a beauty.

I was using 200cm and have dropped down to 195cm, 2inches shorter overall length.

The new blade is what I call High aspect, the width of the blade is half or less than half of the length of the blade. I am using half the length of the blade. The area is 95 square inches and I weigh 93 kg.

I am working on finalising different areas for different weights, with 5 sq in reductions, but thats for another post.

Mine is, Doris Day Secret love, biggest selling single for that year, you can understand why I can't use that music.

There was no albums that year, the album chart did not start until the end of July 1956.

Thanks UK

Great vid...great tunes...saw Bo live when I was about 18...man could PLAY.

Just added you to the kenalu playlist. So many good vids these days its getting hard to pick and choose.

Rod...the thumbnail for the vid is good...for future reference though, you can choose from a few. After the vid is processed go to your vids and click edit. You have 3 to choose from...a whole bunch of other stuff you can edit as well.
