Nice. Looks like a lot more fun than what u were doing last week! he he he

Will u get to SUP Cloudbreak? Would be interested to hear about the crowds these days now that the recent law changes have come into effect. Are there 40 extra people out there everyday? Is it a mad house?

Any info would be most appreciated.

Congrats on the 2nd place. Legend. Hope u enjoyed the beers.

Yeeeha!!
Two weeks to go, that looks sick, and congratulations all in the one breath!
Couple of questions if you have the time and inclination. Ditto Teds, whats the vibe like in the water since the decree? Whats the vibe like towards Stand Ups in general? And finally how much packing and padding do you do before entrusting your shooter and paddle to the airline. Air Pacific?
Cheers

Air Pacific hit me with a $610 exess baggage fee but I had 6 x surfboards + 1 x SUP 1 x Paddle bag + Fishing rod bag + large suit case as I had a million Surfing Queensland t-shirst to give aways to all the Fijian Locals so I was 51kg over = $50 per board bag + $10 a kilo. Who cares as they say I look at it like this if you wana play you have to pay [/b]
From what I see its not crowded going to surf or SUP Cloudbreack tomorrow see ya's latter I'm going fishing "tight Lines"[/b]
see ya in da ocean

Are the waves badly affected by the trade-winds there ? - is it too much of a paddle from plantation island or mana island?

we picked up an American guy who tried to paddle from plantation out to wilkes (next to namotu) on our way home from a surf one day.. This guy was STUFFED.. I am pretty sure he would have died if we had not picked him up... Mind you his first words when he was dragged onto our boat were.. anybody got a smoke... LMAO.. bloody yanks

Well done on the Molokai. You did a lot of hard lonely training and it paid off for you. Have fun and don't avoid the barrel.

Now that the reefs are open there has been a lot of KOOKS getting heart by the reef at Cloud Break (Crowed Break) it reminds you of the KOOKS you see at Ulumatu hitting the reef. Cloud break is not a wave for the faint harted it will F### you up.
