I must admit I was a doubter early in her adventure, but you have to admire her courage and tenacity to keep going.
Unbelievable effort - biggest 'sporting acheivement' of the decade I reckon!
My wife is watching her come through the heads right now with a 5 meter swell pushing behind her.
Another great lesson in how preparation, the right equipment and confidence in your own abilities can carry you through even the most challenging situations.
No doubt the same media that wrote her off and her parents will now be championing her cause. Yesterdays Villain, todays hero; whatever sells papers!

I've done a bit of sailing and Jessica has more determination and stamina than I can even comprehend.

So much for exlusion zone of 100m! Nice work just piloting the boat through the last morning - that probably took more out of her than the last week of swell she played in.

Good effort for sure! It's retty crap she could have finished a week ago but due to the
big welcome home organised she had to potter around between Tassie and Sydney killing
time.
Now there's a 13yo american girl thinking of doing it. Now thats stupid IMO.
