Hey guys,

Had a great session at Mettams yesterday - just downsized to a 9'6" Naish from an 11'4 and having fun - still very much a novice, anyway thought I would post them as I love seeing all your pics...

Looking at your stance I can see a big wave Supp'er in the making (esp. pic #3). Awesome shot Shoki, you'll love the 9'6".

Hey Shoki, thanks for the pics!! I too love seeing everyones pics on the forums. I've had a GoPro for a month or so now, will eventually upload some pics once I'm upright long enough to get some, lol.

I never thought I would say this, but how fun is Mets!

I surfed there on Sunday afternoon on an 8'5 with only half a dozen other guys and had heaps of fun.

Mets is a great break for Perth and nice for SUP surfing - uncrowded and generally a nicer crowd of surfers IMO...just watch out for those rocks...heheheeee

catch you in the water !

Obviously the lack of swell is getting to you...
Mettams fun?
Cam you seriously need to get some decent waves.
(Just bought JL Mano 9.9 so will have to come north for a wave)

Hi Shoki

Hey, I think I saw you there, I just got out from my first SUP wave experience... It was a nice day to get a feel for SUP in the waves (i've done some flat water stuff previously but still new) and looking forward to some bigger and more consistent mettams...

only problem was 10 minutes in I snapped my paddle! so I tried to 'hand' paddle a few waves on my SUP board but not as easy as you would think!

see you out there again soon...

Love the blue colour of the water, after a couple of years of black sand beaches I have almost forgotten what clear water looks like.

Methams is my home break (when in Perth), I have had some great longboarding surfs there over the years, even managed to break a 9'6" LB on the right..... On a good day its a great fun wave...But I have had plenty of very ordinary surfs there as well.... Anyday in the water is a good day.

Looking fwd to getting out on the sup when I am back
