Few pics from this mornings in's & out's training session at Currumbin. Board is 12'6 SIC, lucky it's nice and tuff hehehe.
I think i was swimming in after the board for about 10 mins LOL. Jacko and his great ideas. I had No leggie on!

My paddle in the opposite direction this morning was so much less eventful... but I did manage to better my previous best time

What red thumbs?? If you had paddled harder at the start you would have been over that wave, so really if you are going to bludge in training then this is what you get!!!

Ouch - is right.

Why no leggie? I noticed most of the BOP guys don't wear leggies - seems a bit silly if you loose your board and have to swim for 5 mins to retreive it.

I guess it's a choice of the time it takes to put you leg rope on and of each time you have to do a run or maybe losing your board!!

you might lose 10 seconds every time you have to put your leggie on after the run.

So i guess it comes down to the day and weather you are confident with not losing your board!!!! it can pay off but one slip and it is usually all over.
