Hi guys, thought we'd better start a separate post to avoid confusion... from previous:

We'll be firing up a P4P paddle from St Kilda Seabaths at 9am. Weather permitting we'll be paddling towards Sandbar (Middle Park) and meeting up with the Peak Adventure P4P Crew that will be leaving from Sandridge (Port Melbourne) and meeting us on the water.

Bring a few dollars for a coffee if you're keen.

If you don't have a board you can hire one for $5.00 with all proceeds going to Earthcare St Kilda who do a fantastic job in our local area.

Drop us a quick line at info@supb.com.au to let us know if you're coming along and if you plan on hiring a board on the day.

See you down there!

The latest forecast is...

Northwesterly 15 to 20 knots tending west to northwesterly up to 30 knots during the morning and shifting more westerly during the late afternoon and evening.

if this is the case then we will be organizing a downwinder from either port melbourne or better still from Sanridge SLSC if the wind allows.

We will be updating via this post and the www.supclub.com.au facebook page.

Hopefully things will calm but if not we'll have transport back to port melbourne end for anyone keen to DW. All that are involved in Peak Adventure group are more than welcome to get a lift back as well.

A great cause to get out there and do your bit for, all we need is numbers on the water for it to be a success, join us!

If it's too far to come up this way then RPS are running a P4P the same time further down the bay around Half Moon Bay. Depending on weather and motivation from participants we may even head down that way and try to join up with a third group. See how the forecast goes!

Get involved!!!!

Hi guys, I'll definitely try to make it subject to certain issues within the family. Great cause, just hope the wind is not out of control.

30+ knot Nor-wester... at this rate, I think all three P4P events will end up at the same place whether we plan it that way or not.

Not if we start at Avondale Heights in the Maribynong River and Paddle downstream with the tide, and wind mostly behind us, to just past Flemington Racecourse [Hendersons Landing] 14k one way according to Matt? Great Coffee shop at the finish? THe water's clear at the moment but forecast rain could change that.

how'd it go guys? did you end up doing the run yesterday??? Hope it was outstanding.

FINAL DETAILS FOR PADDLE FOR THE PLANET tomorrow...(unless some freakish change in conditions of course)

Meeting - 9am at Sandridge Life Saving Club at Beacon Cove, Port Melbourne (free parking from what the Peak Adventure crew have told us). On the water by 9:15am.

Paddle - Sandridge to St Kilda Seabaths. Obviously all those super keen paddlers that want to go on are welcome to head off from their.

Transport - Meet at Sandridge with boards etc. there. SUP BUS will be at Sandridge for hire boards etc ($5 donation to Earthcare St Kilda). SUP CLUB have organized a bus to take everyone from St Kilda Seabaths back to Sandridge to pick up cars while minding boards at St Kilda Seabaths.

What to bring - Make sure you have:
- leg rope
- life jacket
- SUP CLUB representatives will have phones with us on the paddle

If you don't have either a leg rope or life jacket these can be borrowed for a gold coin donation (to go to Earthcare St Kilda).

Looking forward to a great paddle with a top group of people tomorrow morning. Rain, Hail, or shine (provided it's safe of course) see you just before 9am at Sandridge Lifesaving Club.

Fella's I swore to Matt I wouldn't say anything but..... Perfect glass , visibility in the river to a depth of around four feet, an average speed of around six K's on the bit for 10.66 Ks. We just kept looking at each other and laughing. The way the river works you wouldn't know you were in Melbourne for 90% of the way. Unlike the Yarra it looks clean. Sorry I can't make it tomorrow but I'm going surfin. Matt's turning up I think so talk to him. Oh, no pictures so it didn't really happen.....

PS. Sorry Matt
