The new format PaddleLoop with the 2km miniLoop (for kids and surf boards) is on this Saturday morning at 7:30am. Nominate the time you think you will do the 4.2km or 2km circuit in. This is a fun event/paddle - you can race it or cruise it, depending on what you want out of it.

Get your nominated time into Greg - president@supwa.com.au before Friday evening.

Jade and Ian are having a break from running the PaddleLoop, after running 7 of the 8 Loops so far. Thanks guys for doing such an awesome job with data entry and monthly promotion - the Freddo presentation will not be the same!

The original plan with the PaddleLoop was to have a roster of people running it from the Canning Bridge Pod - which has unfortunately not taken off. We have a couple of people keen to run the Loop monthly, but more would be appreciated so as to spread the load. email Greg at the above address if interested.

Here are the PB times from the previous PaddleLoops:

Bunbury also has it's paddle loop on the this Sunday morning, reg at 7 at the rowing club car park. Same format as Perth with a 2 and 4km option. Email Damo - ulesys@tpg.com.au for more info. Great option for those that are still lurking around the South West on holidays.

Is there any info on the fastest in the surf board category? Most of our guys are on surf boards and they can get those things going, be great to start benchmarking the various categories

Hi Damo
we only recently started taking details for Board type/length so there are surf board times in the results above, just not identifiable as such.
Good luck for the weekend.

PaddleLoop and MiniLoop PB board from Saturday's run.
Great win by young Sam McCullough to get within 12secs of his nominated time. Amazing time by Will Lee considering the head wind conditions (15knts). New times are highlighted in yellow.
