Yesterday I did a short vid paddling the new Naish Glide.. It was back to cold and crappy Melbourne weather but I still managed to find some glass.

Sorry about the shaky camera it was being held in my mouth which made breathing dificult..and I couldn't work out how to delete the original sound.

This was my first attempt at using Windows movie maker..Anyone else know how to delete the original sound?

Notice how towards the end you see my paddle entering the water it's not that close to my board because of the no-nose so that should reduce board bashing.

Also notice how there is very little wake behind the board.. Usually when I look back is glassy conditions I see a long V wake off the tail of the board.

I'm sure less wake means less drag.. The board speeds up quick and slowly glides to a stop once you stop paddling.. Maybe that's why they call it the Glide.

Hey DJ there was a close up of something weird and disturbingly fleshy at one point - I think it was just after you breathed something about the "long V wake off my tail". The sooner you start borrowing my head cam the better for all concerned.

DJ..At the bottom of the page just above the "Storyboard" on the far left side, you will see an "Audio Level" icon. Click on that. There you can adjust the levels with the slider to select how much (if any) natural/original sound you want to leave on your clip and how much music you want over the top of it.

Hope this helps Darth

Which thingie were you fiddling with ??

If you slide the slider all the way over to the "music side" on the right it should completely eliminate the original sound.

David,
The board looks nice and matches well with your white crocs...
Is the balance point on the handle ok in the end>? Are you going to install indy plugs?

The mouth cam was kind of novel when I first saw it, but I'm not so sure about it now - I felt a bit embarrassing watching it at work with the sound turned up. After I finished I looked around and some of my work colleagues had these weird blank expressions on their faces.
