yep, the best bit about paddling with these guys is if you can reduce the distance from being 1km behind to only 900m.
Dont worry
I'll flog him at Gym training next week and punish his legs so much he have to hobble.
Might help????

I'm in - it'll be the maiden voyage for my brand new, 2012 model, DEEP Oceanboards 14 footer! Hope it gets here in time. Woo hoo.
Here the swell has picked up for Sunday .... don't really know this area that well ,will it mean we will be going out though the surf to get to the start?
Will we be finishing at Newport beach coming though the surf to finish on the beach?

The forecast is looking fun the weekend. Should be a mellow tail wind.
Apparantly there are around 100 entries, with over 30 SUPs.
It is a good cause and relatively easy wind assisted distance so get along if you haven't already entered. Apparantly Travis will be there with the C4 team. D
Thats right Kissa, looking like a nice little Northerly push for Sunday but dont be surprised if theres some good bumps like yesterday as its all moving South and the winds have been stronger than predicted in the arvos.
Travis is coming to race on a new 14' so it will be good for the local boys to see "where theyre at"
I know Pete Morgan reckons he can make Trav work the whole way down.
I will confirm here later where we will be starting but looks like from Newport to Long reef.
Gonna be some bumps this arvo anyone keen?
mmmm - sounds like AD might have to break out the Jav if it is looking light. My dark horse is Sam P. He has fallen in love with his Staboard 14 so he has to make a big decision whether to go with it or the trusty Jav. Look forward to the tussle between SUP's number 1 and the local lads. And then there is Casso on his new DEEP 14!
