Hey Guys

I have been using the new paddle grip from Rail Saver PRO. It offers great grip and only weighs 21 grams. It has been on sale since Jan 1. I have also been using their rail tape, its invisible, protects 100% and doesn't leave many bubbles.

Wonder if you can use the grip stuff on a windsurf boom and the clear tape on a windsurf board??
Where did you get it from?
Cheers

Yea I suppose you could use the same thing on a windsurfer, this is the website. Try contacting the Australian number under the 'Distributor' page

Just to clarify. RailSaverPRO products have nothing to do with this other brand you mention that uses the same name to one of their products.

We're a brand that specifically designs and makes railsavers and now paddle grips using the most advanced materials and production techniques. We're miiiiiiiles away any other thing in the market.

Hi Greg , please let me know if you would like any further details on the RAIL SAVER Pro product available here in Australia , as it is a unique product & most certainly possible to be used on windsurf booms & rails ... There is no other product available with the same quality as I have been involved in the testing & use & it really is fields apart from what else I have seen.
I believe the protection offered & long term life will ensure that RAIL SAVER Pro offers you all that you are looking for ..
Cheers Pete

Hi all,

I know, MASSIVE bump, but this came up on my Google search for Perth retailers. Anyone know of Perth retailers of Railsaver Pro? Don't mind forking out the seemingly excessive price for the tape itself, but I am not willing to spend 20 euro on postage. Even if there are retailers around Australia, I'm happy to pay postage to Perth - as long it's not as expensive as that stated on the official website.

Cheers

SUPBALI (Pete) that replied to your post stocks it here in Australia - on the east coast though and did post me my first order (bought it a second time for the next board I got).

We sell a 3M Product.
For more than a 10ft SUP we recommend 2m each side,under 10ft 1.5m.
Sold by the metre, as little or as much as you like!!

Probably my opinion is too biased, but we developed a product specially for SUP, from the material, to it's surface, to the roughness, to the internal printing, to the super-cristal adhesive that don't yellow overtime, and we and our customers are super happy with the results: beautiful, effective, and would last much longer than your board. It's only an accessory, an accessory for those who love their board and want to keep it new.

Above that, everything is made locally, with local suppliers and technology.

It's expensive to ship to Australia, maybe, but we are even losing money on every shipment, so we have our own distributor over there.

Sorry for the post, but poorly designed products get me angry, and had to write.

I've got RailsaverPRO on my 12'6" Fanatic Fly Race board and it is great. Got it from the Australian distributor SUPBALI(Pete) he was great, postage was reasonable and received via ExpressPost the next day.

Had and have Rail Saver Pro on 3 boards now. I don't hesitate to purchase. Shipment form Spain is SUPER Fast, the local guys are good too.

I would not use my board without it, just super. You could use it on any board, any time. Just makes sense.

No need to get angry over a poorly designed product here Breezers....Puka Patch is a product going from strength to strength & is available pretty much anywhere in Oz now. If it's not in your area email me & I'll put you in touch with a retailer who can supply.

PUKA PATCH is now the most commonly used item for instant waterproof repairing across various watercraft. Puka is a watertight & cost effective solution ideal for SUP's, Surfboards, Kayaks, Outriggers, PWC/Marine, Kites/Kite Bladders, Sail or Inflatables etc.
Also a great product for protecting high use / him wear areas on boat decking/rails etc - a clear product barely visible, won't fade or discolour & provides all the wear & tear protection required.

- Available in 2 Patch sizes + a 2pk SUP Rail Kit or 50mtr rolls.
- Very easy to apply & sticks to wet surfaces also.
- Great flexibility when applying around bends etc, the product stretch also get's you more bang for your buck !
- Thin enough to not hinder performance (i.e. drag), yet very durable when bashed with a paddle etc. I've had it on all my demo SUP's for 2yrs now, they take a beating & they still look great.

Below are video links showing the application of Puka Patches & Railsaver, pro SUP rider Sean Poynter using Puka Patch, instructional video using the corner rounding tool & repairing a kite bladder.
