I'm not sure what happened here but it appears the glass has cracked through the top.

I've ridden a few times like this and am worried I'm letting water in...

Can I take this to any shaper to fix or what?

Cheers.

That looks like a crease! Suck on the crack, if air comes out, water is getting in!

On the verge of sounding arrogant, you don't remember when our how the crease appeared on your board?

Ask your local Naish reseller if they know anyone or someone they use - fixing boards with wood veneers can be a bit tricky especially if you don't want to ruin the look.

Bummer!

Looks like it's close to a broken board.. It's worth getting it fixed now before it ends up in two pieces.

A friend of mine creased his 11'4" and you can hardly tell now after a professional fix.. They even matched the timber look.

No I remember when not how... How would this usually happen? I dont believe any other board ran over it. Paddle maybe? Not sure...

This was mine
They cut the creased section out, dug out the mushed foam and filled with epoxy. I did not worry about the aesthetics and the grip covers up.
The crease happened in the first month after getting it about a year ago and surfs fine. The repair is under my feet so takes a lot of pressure.
I use the board 2-3 times a week. Fix and surf to death

Not sure.
Just surfing small mush and it was deep so did not hit the bottom and looked down during the surf and there it was.

I had a similar crease in a starboard drive and mine didnt have any damage on the bottom. It cost me $250 to get pro fix and he did a great job.
Used it for a couple of months before i changed to a smaller board and didnt notice any difference when on the waves.I have since lent it to a couple of beginners and its still fine.

It's quite obvious whats happened here......Going by the big tyre mark across the deck.....it must have been a large truck that ran over your board

Cruel Dean cruel...
Hi mk007 I reckon you'd get it fixed professionally for about $100.

Or you can keep riding, and you will eventually snap it. You can then get it fixed professionally for ballpark $300.
