Revin Kevin always tells it just like it is but this time i think he got it wrong!

When I asked him how he was going on the DC 10.0 he repiled well " I feel like a Hooker trying to stand in 10 inch high heels" I told him I dint what to know what he was doing saturday night!

You see what you think.

This was only 1 of several waves and for a guy dropping 18 inches in board length I believe he is doing really well!

DISC: I own a DC 9.4 and love it to bits, Kevin, Roscoe, Cammo, Rich and others that have ridden my board loved it enough to get their own some longer some shorter! DCs designs rock but sadly he doesnt sponsor me

Hey Rob,

Its Kevins 1st or 2nd time out on the board in reasonable conditions, coming of the Kalama he was so stoked he was sure it would be beyond him.

I agree a 9.4 is just around the corner for him in winter.

He came in frothing like a grom on speed.

Kevvin is such a hoot to surf with!

Lovin the new stick, third time out on it and only in small OG, cant wait to get it into some waves with a decent wall and some push.

Phill, it was wobbling like "a drunken hooker in stilletos'.......I agree with your comment in the other thread, bring on winter. cheers for the pics.

Hey Revvin, looks like your havin a great time.

What's the dimensions of your new board? Why don't you give us a run down on dropping 18 inches in board size.

Cheers

G'day Daneli,

dimensions are

I had tried a few boards between 9'6" and 10'6" from PSH, Naish, Surftech and DC and wanted something that was going to challenge me a bit but I could still have some fun on if conditions were a bit average, so decided on something around the 10'0" mark. By keeping some volume up the front and the full thickness of the blank through the middle and being 30" wide it is stable enough. thursday night and this morning were the first times I have tried it in choppy conditions and I was wobbling around and falling in a fair bit, but still getting in to a few waves.
Dropping 18 inches hasnt been as traumatic as I expected, but I've still got a long way to go.

Disclaimer: I'm too much of a kook to be sponsored, in fact I'm such a kook I'm lucky that some of these shredders talk to me
