the conditions are looking good for a downwinder, not to happy that they cancelled the ferries for the weekend, was looking foward to it, next time

This was just north of the Change Sheds at about 1pm. Good size on the sets, decent right hander. Provided the wind stay south (or west there of) this might be a good pick.

What a great day with some excellent surfing in very tricky conditions and the best SPSC race yet!
Here are the results: www.australianpaddlesurfer.com.au/SPSC/results.html
Great day!
I tried going for a surf after the downwinder. "Tried" being the operative word, not realising how much the paddle had taken out of me till I attempted standing on the SUP in the surf. Anyway, I am keen to do that again. I will just make sure I go for a surf BEFORE the paddle!
Well done Chucky for firing in very tricky surfing conditions on his 8'10 DTM coming first in opens surfing great effort.
Also Dave for speeding off in the down wind race on his Starboard 12'6 for a fun first place ...good to see you back at the comps mate and a nice lesson in downwind paddling !!
Wow how good was that race to finish off the day with runners all up pittwater !! Another great day!!
Sorry I missed it but I really wanted to watch my young bloke's AFL semi which they lost[}:)]
Well done Chucky, I will drop off the jacket just PM me your address.
Mate with 20knot cross wind and 4 ft close outs I wish I was in a coffee shop!!
But the race was best one we had by far perfect down wind run!!!
Was a good call from the committee to run the surfing.V entertaining. The 4 in the final were the standouts throughout the rounds. Was no surprise that Chucky won. Dan, good to see you expanding the DTM colour range They look sweet
