Hi all,
SPSC first event is on this Sunday at longreef, and conditions are looking promising for swell. Might be a little wind on the water though, but nothing major. I hope to see all the regulars there, and of coarse any new comers who wish to join in on an awesome day.
If you want any further info you can visit http:www.spsc.com.au
See you there!
JB
Yep, I'll be there with bells on, proudly bringing up the tail end in round 1!
Head judge too, yeehaa ( can't wait to off load all the work on to Dan...)
Yeah JB, looking real good!! Me and Dan surfed directly in front of the lagoon this morning, there's a nice left on one side and a cooking right on the other. We surfed the right for most of the time with no one out!!
Real light offshore winds predicted with a nice little se swell
Jedi, your cheque is in the mail
I am hoping to make it. Wicked banks down at the pole at the minute especially on the higher tides. Should be perfect timing for Sunday.

Look out Long Reef! - over half the BOMB SUPS (Birubi One Mile Beach) club is dropping by.
Yep both Steve and I'll be there and packing some heavy rubber for those Antarctic southern waters.
Looking forward to catching up and sharing some of your fine waves

What a morning, forecast is for a super sunny day around 17dc. Official sunrise expected at 6:44am.
A base swell of 2m with an expected coastal Swell around 1.2m, with an early high tide around 1.75m, and a low of 0.31m expected around 12:30pm. Which will bring us a vast variety in wave conditions through out the today.
Wind is slight from west at about 5 - 10 knots, expected to swing Nor-Northwest moving into the middle of the day and decreasing to less than 5 knots, with a possible late afternoon Northeasterly. Perfect conditions for Long Reef Beach.
So expect some nice clean conditions today, waves ranging around the shoulder height mark (overhead for you shorties) with the occasional bomb set for the patient.
SPSC base camp will be in close vicinities of the Lagoon towards the surf. Registration starts at 7:30am, please be there on time so we can hope to kick things off at 8am.
Look forward to seeing you all there,
JB
Looking forward to the report had a great surf in manly till the tide bottomed out and it started giveing closeout after closeout
Did a downwinder with Dale in the Harbor yesterday from the Zoo to Little Manly, good fun bit bumpy with all the refracting swell/wake in the harbor though.
Longboarding might be so yesterday but if all the youngens are any thing to go by everything that was old is new again.
