Check this site out www.suptrainer.com ,this was sent to me from Stuart from SUPLOVE .

Ifound it a interesting read ,I've never heard of TRX before looks a good way to train your core and shoulders ,which would reduce injuries and less strain than using weights.Don't get me wrong I'm all for weight training but this would be a good cross training exercise.

It's a free e- book and comes with programs.

Saw some dudes doing this down at the park a while ago, its called Slack-lining. I reckon it would do wonders for your balance on a SUB.

Has anyone got a comment on the use of an IndoBoard to help with core strength, balance etc ?
We bought one ages ago and after using it every second day for a few months, you can FEEL everything working so much better when you are out on your SUP, especially when its bumpy.
I always use hand weights and broom sticks to work the obliques especially, and it has been a huge benefit in SUP mainly but in everything else you do also.
Indoboards are inexpensive, take up an area no bigger than say 2m x 2m to use, and a workout using weights over even just 10 minutes is hard work.

I started using a TRX after injuring my back during a maritial arts training session over a year ago.
Now my back is all good & I use TRX to mix up my training between weights & cardio.
Like boylos said its a good cross trainer which adds something different & I would recommend it to anyone who sup's.

Yeah i love my Indoboard!!! You can definately feel the benefits of using one on a regular bassis.........And yes the wipe outs can hurt

I have to admit though that i haven't been on mine for the last six weeks, which was mainly due to footy finals (didn't want to fall and injure myself......WOOS)

YES indeedy...my husband and I agreed that if we were using it alone at home out under our pergola, we would always have a mobile in our pocket so that if we are catapulted off the board and are lying there with a broken limb, we could ring the ambos without having to crawl inside for the phone!!!!
Now we have it wired and its a very Zen kind of thing (quite peaceful really)...all about balance and symmetry and adjusting posture by seeing your reflection in the french doors is a big help too. Now if we can only train our dog not to want to sit 2 cm from the board while we're using it that would be VERY handy.

That guy on the vid just posted is SOOOO GOOOOD...how to make the difficult look easy peasy and even graceful...thats what we're all aiming for isnt it?

The TRX looks like a good exercise gadget. It's a heap of money for a bit of webbing with some handley things on the end. Perhaps a quick visit to Bunnings might do the trick.

Hunter Joslin is actually the guy who designed indoboards, so I reckon he would be good on one! I cant cross step across my floor as well as he does on that board..........Very cool indeed.

Hi mini

how much was freight from the US? I had a look at the local guys and they are charging over $300! The US dollar exchange works out to be $166 plus freight. If is under $200 it's almost worth it, otherwise a trip to bunnings as Boylos said.
Cheers

The other thing that is great training for when it is blown out or you just want to have some fun is the wave or ripstic 2 wheeled skate boards. The girls ride them all the time they are lots of fun and you can pull off some amazing tricks on them.

About $110 on ebay. Cheaper at auction.
