During the 2008 National Wave Kiting Championships, we scored some great waves. and while the wind was down, the SUP's dominated. Here are some shots of Paul Jackson and Myself on some decent sized waves. The pics don't do the size justice, but remember I am 6'3".

Paul and JB paddle into a casual wave.

The waves were a bit fat, but lots of fun.

We were able to catch the waves way out the back, no surfboard or mals were any where near us, we were actually pulling off the waves before the surfers were even paddling for them.

Paul Jackson on a nice inside right.

The size of the waves wasn't alloying us to get very radical as our board speed was so high, so the aim was more control. We were both on Naish 10'6" SUP's

JB cutting back on a nice left.

JB connecting through to the inside.

JB taking off on a nice sized set. Paul about to get smashed! You can't really see the bottom of this wave, but I'm about half way down the face, and going a lot faster than it looks.

Hey JB...Looks like you're dropping in on your mate in that first pic....just kidding.

Great waves...We need a swell like that down here right now..for Bells.

No kidding, I was! I didn't think he was going to take it from that deep inside, but once your going your going! It's hard to about face at that speed. Lucky were good mates, and there is nothing that beer can't fix.
