Guess i am older then what i feel. Was never taught that method in the late 60's..

Surfing NSW run a 'surfers rescue 24/7' course to members- totally Free. covers CPR and ocean rescue techniques. Check out Surfing Australia website.

I'm with you there bro!!!But in all seriousness I learn't that back in the 80s.Surfing Aust,or what ever it was at the time were doing surf safty courses and that was in it and it works good with a concious patient"BUT"try getting an unconcious lump of meat to stay in the middle of the board>>>>No hope.You'r better off doing the first bit then getting away from the breaking waves(out to sea)and then waiting for proper rescue craft.P.S.You can always do EAR or CPR by just rolling them onto their back and supporting the head and neck.
