Some nice surfing there.

Does anyone else think that this type of wave does more for progressing SUPping than say somewhere like sunset? As long as it doesn't turn into a 1ft on shore grovel fest that is.

While Sunset has its place and is great to see guys charging for me it doesn't do much to enhance the profile of supping as they are pretty much going straight with the occasional turn. Smaller beach break waves like this show how truly agile SUPs can be when in the right hands.

I totally agree but a place like sunset is needed for variety of the events, showing a range of talent..

Watching that vid and the quality of the waves which were not great and the variety of manoeuvres, makes me thing any of the guys in the Aussie Titles final would have been seriously competitive in that final.

Well it aint longboarding Lacy so I quess that is the agenda.

That's Leco, best SUP backhand by a mile I reckon.

They are smacking the Longboarders now for the performance moves IMO, great to watch.

Amazing to see how quickly these young guys are pushing the boundaries and evolving SUS .Look at Lai's board the only one with a deck pad he must be old school and those short as paddles are they there everyday or just to suit the conditions?
