I am keen to have a crack at the racing SUB's (use to do a bit of surfski racing in the good old days), can someone confirm that boards are availbale to demo/use on the Saturday session as my board is too short and slow.

Thanks
Rich

Hi Richswing,

Yep, I generally have a swag of boards to have a crack on and a choice of 4 different race boards currently. I also have a few different paddles you can try.

Nothing like someone else on your tail to keep you moving. I thought I was doing alright doing 15:30mins for 2 km, then Darren and I paddled together and knocked it down to 13:30 within a couple of laps. I think that will be the beauty of this Saturday morning group, people will progress at their own pace but have others there to push them.

Hi Guys,

I did the course this morning at the usual 5.30am and paddled the 10.31km course (Tranby Jetty return) in 1hr 12minutes flat.

Should be a good crew turning up on Saturday where I hope to shave another minute off that time

See you there at the Tranby House Carpark by 5.30am

Hey Chopz,

The morning starts at Tranby House Car Park which is right between the Boat Repair yard and Tranby Cottage. There is ample car parking at that time of the morning but please be quiet as there are residents who probably aren't as excited to be up at 5.20 am as we are

Absolutely perfect conditions forecast with no wind predicted in the morning, it should be a millpond!

Look forward to seeing everyone in the morning, I expect we are going to have a decent crew this week.
