I've been thinking about doing this for awhile getting together with the Gold Coast Breezers and putting faces to names.
Here is the perfect opportunity this Saturday night the Boys at Surf FX are putting on a Welcome to winter party and are throwing on some beers and pizza to boot. Plus some random door prizes , in store discounts and play some classic surf videos.
So get out from behind your keyboard and drop in for a couple , I'll be the one standing next to the free beer with a pizza in my hand

Twains now you are going back that's where my wife used to work on the door. Plus the good old days at the Paradise Room and the Terrace , showing my age now.... selling raffle tickets to the finks at the original beer garden when I was a grommet for the Surfers Surf Club.
Scotty I could not afford the cover charge of some of those places and you had to wear a collard shirt pants and belt oh and real shoes,not the tee,sand shoes I owned
Oh the PR it would shut early,after our jugs at the real beer garden we would make our way west,pop into the PR as they would turn the lights on and everyone had to go with or without finishing their drinks,that's when we pounced on the leftovers on our way to Bomb bay rock,all up 10 bucks and smashed

I was thinking of coming but listening to you guys and your stories of places I've never heard of I'm feeling way to young. Been to cocktails only cause I use to love the Party down stairs, got to go to the playroom once, but Thursday nights at the Edge in Broadbeach was fun.
