Thinking of getting the wife and daughter one of these for short paddles + possible use in shallow rivers.
Seak Plastic Sup $489 Anaconda
Any thoughts

That board / plastic is impressive. Rather the kids trash that than my new Naish!

Tested one out on the weekend , pretty heavy at around 20kg but super stable anyone could paddle it. It yaws very easily but that would be good for rapids. Impossible to hurt and kids loved it , for the price can't knock it at all. The 3 piece paddles are a clever design but absolute crap as a stand up paddle.
