I've been desperate to buy a SUP for the past few months, but I've been prohibited from buying a new board as the 'rents don't want me spending ~$1500 on the Starboard I want. I've been looking many places for a second hand board, but no luck so far. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to look for the second hand SUPs? I'm interested in the 9'8" Starboard. Also, I'm in WA.

You are selling the 11'2'' Greenroom? I wonder what you have replaced it with and why. I have an 11'2'' and it serves me well but obviously there is something better out there. What have you opted for.

Hey Greenroom, I know that the 11' is the "Ultimate Blend" as the description says on the Starboard site. The 11' may be great for wave riding, but with a longboard feel compared to the 9'; shortboard. Plus, my car really isn't big enough to have an 11' board on it! Thanks anyway.

Longboards Scarborough have a 10'10" Walden, you would assume it is new as in primo condition. Around $1350.

Thanks P co, I hadn't thought of going to have a look there, I'm sure they have a fair bit of good SUP stuff for sale.

I have a S/H Walden 10'10 for sale for $800. Has paint chips on rails but otherwise excellent condition. Not sure what freight is to W.A but if you are interested I can make some enquiries for you.

Im married to the 11'2 Elbs. There is absolutely nothing better than the Starboard 11'2 in its range
I though I knew every inch of the board but every time I take it out im dialing into it more and more like an Indian call centre
I just want a brand new one in a different colour

Hi there Greenroom

I have followed your reviews of the 11'2 with great interest. I have been looking for a 2nd hand board for 6 months now. I have tried the 11'2 and have been equally impressed.

If you are still keen on selling it, I would be interested in checking it out. Call me on 041 795 8090.

Cheers

Gooch

PS - You say you are getting a new board, it wouldn't be the 10'5 would it. I am impress that you 2nd guessed the Starboard guys on the Drive before it was released!!

I know what you mean Greenroom. Isn't a bit embarrassing when you're standing in the corner kissing your 11'2'' and your wife walks in.

Hey Gooch. Yeah the Starboard 11'2 is the sweetest board. I cant talk it up much more. I had another fun sesh on it this morning in shoulder to head high waves. Barrels and all. Fast, hollow, down the line waves. No room for cut backs. And only me out And Im definately chomping at the bit to get on the 10'5
I will get in touch with you in regards to checking out my board.
If your dead keen then you will be very impressed with the condition of the board.
It looks as if its just been taken off the shop shelf. Im a bit anal when it comes to looking after my gear

i had a sick session on the 11'2 at dutch inn today in perth - waist to shoulder high and i had reos and floaters toally going on - didnt miss one all day! Even got some backside reos to coming down backwards and swinging the nose back down the wave floater action moves that felt awesome-

once you get right on the tail the 11'2 transforms into a 6'4 wannabe surfboard! And then you have all the longboard style options on this board too - i cant belive i am still finding sweet spots after nearly 1 year of owning this magic piece of shaping.

Greeny - sounds like you found a better place this morning though.. you goin for a thruster set up or staying pure and single?

Hey Matt, Yeah this morning was sick! I was getting mad shacks!
I showed Michael a photo I took. Its a bit Ssshhh though. It works on about 2m up and on a low tide. Hollow and spits out the 11'2 like a bullet. Head high all on my own.
I have lost the usb lead for my phone so I cant upload the photos I took.
Stay tuned as I most probably will buy a new one.
Im gonna stay with the single. I just wanna upgrade.
