We have been working on a project in our backyard.

9 footers appear to be much more maneuverable than 12 footers so recognizing that principal, ie shorter is better, we have followed that through to its natural conclusion.

This is only a prototype and is yet to be trialled.

The dimensions are;
length 3'6"
width 21"
thickness 2.5 inches
fin 9" with 6" base

We anticipate some problems with yawing due to the short length but because these things are amazingly easy to build we are prepared to put up with that.

If we get enough orders we will proceed to production

to full production.

Good on you AA.

Who would of thought that surfboard manufacturing would be so easy.

They go on about rails this and concave that but it really is very simple.

We will be in touch if the trials go well.

Looking forward to a successful partnership

Niki 8yrs old says she is happy to do the flat water testing!

She is sick of these 8ft aircraft carriers and wants a shortie to rip on!

Wants to know how many 5 + 10c pieces it costs so she can save up!

We haven't decided on a price yet but imagine that they will be VERY expensive because of the research that went in to development . Sorry

Love the idea of having the legrope attached near the nose. Obviously this is so that once you come off the board it swings around and goes through the inside pack skeg first ensuring that noone sits inside you again.[}:)]

One of the innovations of our product that we think the surfing public will find extremely beneficial

I think you have gone public with this prototype too early.
You may be forced to take a partnership with an established shaper (Blane is always looking for innovative products).
In the mean time you should apply for a patent.
This board will smoke!

We envisage that to gain the best experience from our product certain dietary adjustments may be necessary for some purchasers.

As you would have read. Established shapers go on and on about how difficult it is to make a board. Rails this and volume that etc. We, on the other hand have cut right through all that stuff and simply applied ta..... Whoops nearly revealed the process right there. Anyway . We are fine on our own
