whats the burton

you should have a try on one of dh's project15 models if you can-fast as, impressed me. enough to get me on sb's again. they said i'll be back maybe
cheers

The Burton is the Troy Brooks round tail quad 6,4 x 19 1/8 x 2 3/8, awesome board up to head high, has a great big single concave to double to vee through the rear fins.
I have been looking at them DHD project 15s on the site, what makes em so good Lacey?

well coming back from sups, normal sb don't seem to go forward, but p15 is fast, drivey and has good lenght of turn, yet still does all the other stuff you expect. the vids posted show what i mean. obviously i'm not even on the same map as those guys on the vids, but the board does those things
cheers
ps i ride at the same lenght 'pre sup', but a bit wider and a bit thicker then pre sup

There is no shame in going wider and thicker mate, mite have to order one of these babies, you may have convinced me there Lacey

Lesson learned; if you go from riding your sup and your short board feels too small, you are not riding you shorty enough. A few shorty sessions and there after, 50% sup and 50% shorty and all is good again.

used to be 6'2 x 18 3/4 or 7/8, depending on rocker, x 2 1/4. this ones 6'2 x 19 1/4 x 2 1/2. 6'2's always worked well for me, under that never seemed right for me
cheers

6,3 is the smallest that I normally go, any shorter and I stuggle a bit. Ive got a 6,2 Rusty and I just dont use it anymore. Ive got 6,3 AB 6,4 Burton 6,5 LSD & 6,8 JS.
All rounded pin tails, and mostly 19ish wide x 2 1/2

Being such a nice day and just getting back from a great surf at woolamai I thought I would drag a few boards out.
It was a walk down memory lane for a few of them. I still have three long boards under the house that need sme work so I will save those for the Kids when they get bigger. Jorja wanted to be in the photo with her red soft top.

Cheers Scott

Hey Cranky

The white LB is 9'2"x29"x4", the green one is 8'9"x27.5"x4.25" but it only comes out when there is absolutely no bump. Both highly recommended and both boards surf way better than I do
