Hi Peeps,

It gives me the greatest pleasure to introduce you to Loris, possibly Australia's oldest race paddler. Loris has been paddling with us for 2 months now and after trying several boards, she felt the Fanatic 12'6" x 27 3/4" Red Rocket, Narrow carbon was the board for her. She also chose a the Quickblade Carbon/FG in red 90 paddle.

At just 67 years young, Loris has begun her training for this years Classic Paddle in Perth, a gruelling 5km sprint race in flat water from Point Walter to the Left Bank in Freo.

Loris is already paddling more than 5km as her standard training and will be amping it up to get her times faster for the race. She is also a keen swimmer and cycles as well. Loris is our "Little old lady from Pasedena" Look out for her on the start line at the Classic Paddle, she isn't going to be taking prisoners! [}:)]

So is it fair to say that Jacko is paddling a little old lady's board?

I'd be careful about calling her old, for her last holiday, she handed it to the 25 yr olds in her swimming group, swimming from island to island on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia!
Go Loris!!

What is it with these inspirational old people that make me feel guilty that I am not training enough ?
