We (my wife and two daughters 6 & 7) spent 2 months SUPing the Baja peninsula last year. One of the most amazing surf destinations I've ever been to. Hard work; desert camping, no fresh water and very few towns. We had three hot showers in two months. It was great when I came upon someone to surf with, most I saw in the water was three. Stacks of sharks but they're not interested in you. The most dangerous marine life is the male sealions. I literally got stared out of the water by one, gave me the evil eye. I later found out that they have been known to attack surfers. He wasn't game enough when I had the carbon fibre paddle in my hand. The beauty of the Baja is the long points, one of my favourites being El Conejo (the rabbit), desert camping in the scrub with spaced out Californians still living the 60/70s. Way cool!
If anyone needs some info give me a bell.

Great vid Simmo
So intune with his equipment, perfect top turns with no freefall after them. Perfection on his backhand
heavy wave !!!! best backhand rentries iv ever seen !!! unreal couple of barrels too
thanks for posting !
1:25 - 2nd hack on this wave - how's that rooster tail of spray off the top !!
2:05 - jambs it in the pocket, get's a touch caught up by a rising bump, looses speed, and grabs rail for a brilliant backhand barrel !
2:40 - you'd remember that barrel as an old man !!
2:50 - next wave.... you'd be reliving this vertical work in your dreams for months, maybe years !!
3:10 - what can you say... slotted, for ages, then top to bottom.... then the legs are too buggered to either bother pushing around that section which was probably quite makable !!
