Cracking shots Phill. "Straight to the pool room" for those. So much fun yesterday, have'nt surfed that spot like that since some time in the seventies. Think I mentioned to you up in the car park that as a teenager I used to live just over the other side of the hill from there in Orton St. Tell the truth that's the first time I've heard it called second reef, it was allways just the go to spot when the tide was super full and there was'nt much swell. On a good day I would happily sit out there on my seven foot single fin pin, for four or five hours catching lots of little waves and working on my favourite move, the Wayne Lynch head dip hair flick. An underated manouvre in my humble opinion which seems to have gone the same way as the soul arch and the cheater five. Ahhhh memories!
Anyway these days I dont have enough hair to flick and I'd probably tweek my back if I tried.

I dont use the normal names for certains spots on the Breeze as we like to keep some mystery.
Mac where she surfed yesterday had some size and she dealt with it pretty well. Rich and the crew will tell you she has been out with us in some serious size at times when many sat on the beach.
At other times like last Thursday she hasseled me to go with her to the beach went out caught one wave and came straight back in. She just said dad its not fun, too big for me lets go home. Her head is screwed on the right way.
These waves arnt breaking over shallow reef, its more dangerous at main beach where like yesterday a friend caught someones side fin in the left temple and I would have thought needed 5+ stiches. More clarret than a Penfolds barrel house all over him when he cam up the ramp

OG main beach was soooo crowded yesterday, the breeze kicked up after lunch so it made for an easy decision to spend some time putting on my new deck grip, great shots Phil, hope to catch up this week for a surf.

Restuarants, RL's(restuarant left), 7-11, Sweet bank, Lookouts, Last steps, Trailer trash, nearly pigs and some others so secret they dont exist yet
