Great looking board.

Did you put tape around the blade of the paddle or is that how it comes.

It might also be worth putting a little more tape from the base of the blade and up the shaft a few inches.

The paddle shaft should almost rub along the edge of the board and you will get the odd knock against the rail.

Great pics...I love the full deck pad.

No thats not tape. Its a plastic sleeve with glue on the inside of it. I just squeezed it around the blade. I do have some more and probably should put alit more towards the shaft. I used it today for the first time and its the 4th time Ive ever SUPed. I managed not to hit the board with the paddle. The paddle blade is quite sharpish so putting the plastic strip around the blade seemed like a good idea. It also makes for a good protection so I can stand it on the ground/concrete

Looks good Greenroom, who did you go through, local shop or ordered it? And what made you decide that particular board?
